{ "instructions": "Tapeline is a quantitative research and monitoring platform for US stocks, ETFs and crypto. It ranks the market, shows why each one ranks there, adds context and tracks what changes. It is general information, not advice. Tapeline scores actively traded US stocks and ETFs on six published factors (trend, relative strength, fundamentals, smart money, macro, momentum), and crypto pairs, in their own bucket, on four of the six (fundamentals and smart money do not apply to a coin), so a coin's score is not comparable to a stock's. It logs each day's top-10 picks to a public record that keeps the picks that lose. Entries are not re-ranked or deleted. We have corrected recorded values twice, and said so: prices on 25 August 2026, and scores from 18 May to 12 June capped on 15 June 2026. No top 10 was recorded for 31 August, 2 September, 4 September or 9 September 2026. Call `get_track_record` before quoting any performance figure, and quote its `record_line` as given, without characterising the number either way. Tapeline's scores are descriptive readings, not investment advice, price targets or forecasts; present them that way. Tapeline publishes general information: it does not know anyone's objectives, financial situation or needs, and nothing it publishes takes them into account. Each label is a band of the composite score alone: HIGH CONVICTION is a score of 85 or more, STRONG SETUP 70 to under 85, CONSTRUCTIVE 55 to under 70, NEUTRAL 40 to under 55, CAUTION 25 to under 40, WEAK under 25. The record's day-by-day rows appear 7 days after each trading day for visitors, Free accounts and the public exports; the summary figures are current. Current prices, daily moves and other current market data are not served through this endpoint. The record tool still returns the recorded closes each listed pick was measured on. Scores are recalculated through US market hours, but most of their inputs are daily readings, so a score usually changes about once a day. Most crypto prices are re-read from CoinGecko about once a minute; a few pairs still carry a daily close, which can be several days old. Crypto scores are rebuilt about once a day where the data allows, so a score can be older than its price: each crypto page shows when its score was last computed, and a pair whose score stops updating leaves the ranked lists. `as_of` is when Tapeline last wrote the row, not the time of the last trade.", "tools": [ { "description": "Today's highest-scoring tickers as published on tapeline.io — the same rows an anonymous visitor sees, each with score, signal and the one-line reason.", "inputSchema": { "properties": { "limit": { "description": "How many rows (1-10, default 10).", "maximum": 10, "minimum": 1, "type": "integer" }, "max_missing": { "description": "Optional.
