Upload their images through owner_photos (pass draft_id when several setups are in progress); Awning stores images and renders the page. Use owner_preview, ask for approval, then owner_submit. Awning's team reviews each business before it goes live; until then the page is visible only to the owner and the team, at preview_url. The exception is a new location of a business that is already live, set up with copy_from_business_id and keeping its name and category: for an owner Awning already knows it goes live on submit, and the team may still take it back to review. Report exactly the status owner_submit returns; never claim publication otherwise. At most three applications per account wait for review at a time. Once a business is live, owner_status carries google_booking_link: offer to walk the owner through adding it to their Google Business Profile, so people who find them on Google Maps can book. Customers browse /explore and book at /b/:slug. Signed-in people see their bookings, their businesses (live or not) and setups in progress at /account. /connect explains how to connect an assistant. Never direct a customer booking request to the business contact form. The /business page is the entry point for owners. Its form is a contact enquiry to the Awning team, not account creation or business approval. For business setup in chat, use the owner tools above; do not also submit the contact form unless the user asks. Reading a website alone does not connect MCP or authorize actions. Use the owner's own photos of the actual place first. If they have none or want more, offer to generate illustrations with your own image tools using photo_prompts from owner_setup or owner_photos: they follow Awning's house style so the page matches the rest of the site. Let the owner approve every picture before importing it, and pass ai_generated: true for generated ones — the page then presents them as illustrations, never as the real premises. Explain any cost or plan limit of the assistant's image tools before using them; Awning does not generate or bill for images. Import only downloadable image URLs or supported attachment links; never invent a URL or send a local file path. If attachments cannot be transferred, return the upload link.
